This campaign is about practical results: lowering costs, raising pay, strenthening schools, and cleaning up Harrisburg. Below are the priorities I'll focus on first and the things that will make life better for working families in District 9.
Work should pay and workers should be treated fairly.
What I support:
Raise the minimum wage to $12 and index it to inflation with guardrails (so wages don’t fall behind)
Guaranteed breaks for long shifts (clear statewide rules)
Keep time-and-a-half after 40 hours/week and add daily overtime after 10 hours
Healthcare shouldn’t bankrupt families.
What I support:
$35 insulin cap for state-regulated plans
A Prescription Drug Affordability Board to review extreme drug prices
Crack down on PBM middlemen and hidden pricing.
Schools can’t fix what they don’t see and kids can’t learn if they can’t get there.
What I support:
Require PSSA/Keystone results to be delivered by August 1
School transportation reforms so students have reliable access to class
Smart efficiency reforms that reduce admin waste without cutting classrooms
People should trust that Harrisburg works for them — not insiders and lobbyists
What I support:
No corporate PAC money + $0 gift ban
Ban stock trading by elected officials (index funds/blind trust-style rules)
An independent redistricting commission
Modernize campaign compliance: online committee registration and reporting
Be tough on crime and smart enough to reduce reoffending.
What I support:
Prison reforms focused on rehabilitation so people are less likely to reoffend
A Fair Chance hiring bill (records can’t be an automatic disqualifier unless directly job-related)
A Fair Fines Act so penalties hit equally regardless of income
Police staffing and body-cam grants with transparent reporting
Practical fixes that protect drivers and families.
What I support:
Finish shifting State Police off the Motor License Fund
Require headlight aim and glare checks during state inspection
Fair rules, real competition, and a ballot that isn’t rigged by design.
What I support:
Open primaries for independents
Ranked-choice voting
Ballot order randomization
Ballot access rules that are uniform and predictable
Fair party recognition and better voter registration UI
